Mathlane does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. There is no account, no login, and no server that receives anything from the app.
Your child's progress — which levels are finished, quiz results, and the chosen language — is saved locally on the device using the operating system's standard storage. It is never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes it.
Mathlane never asks for the microphone or the camera, and makes no network requests of any kind. All lesson audio is bundled inside the app itself. There is no channel through which anything could leave the device.
Mathlane is built for students aged roughly 11 to 14. Because it collects nothing at all, it complies with COPPA, the GDPR, and equivalent regimes by construction rather than by policy.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, that will be disclosed here and requested from you in the app first.

Check the device isn't on silent, then reinstall the app — audio ships with the binary and a partial install is the usual cause.

Progress is stored on the device only. Restoring a device from an iCloud backup restores it; a fresh install on a new phone starts over.
